Help build momentum for H.R. 676

Encourage your member of Congress to co-sponsor the Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act

As the Trump administration enacts a raft of detrimental health policies, we need to fight back with the promise of fundamental reform. Now is the time to enact legislation that would truly address our ongoing health care crisis, and provide the type of universal, comprehensive coverage that our current "system" fails to deliver.

The only solution is to enact a single-payer national health program, and H.R. 676, the Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act, would do just that. The bill has been introduced in every Congress since 2003 and has attracted a record number of co-sponsors in the current session.

Let's keep the momentum going. See below for a list of current co-sponsors, as well as a list of likely, potential, and uncommitted members. It's important to build as much support for H.R. 676 as possible, and you can help!

1) Click here to find your member of Congress. You should be able to access your member's website from here, which will include contact information.

2) If your member of Congress has already co-sponsored H.R. 676, call and email to thank them. Also, encourage them to recruit their colleagues as co-sponsors, to speak out publically in support of the bill, and to join the recently formed Medicare for All Caucus.

3) If your member of Congress has not co-sponsored H.R. 676, and is on one of the target lists below, call and email to encourage them to co-sponsor. We have provided links with contact info for these members.

4) If your member of Congress has not co-sponsored H.R. 676, and is not on the target list below, call and email to express your support for the bill. Let them know you are a politically active constituent and brief them on why they should support single payer.

If you have trouble locating contact information for your representative, you can always call the U.S. Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121.

Thank you!
