Medical Students: Win a Free Trip to Toronto!
The PNHP-NY Metro Medical Student Essay Contest

Join a team of ten PNHP members on a "fact-finding mission" to see how the Canadian single-payer system actually works. Empower yourself in public speaking and writing by integrating direct personal experience of a Medicare-for-All system. Organized in conjunction with our colleagues at Canadian Doctors for Medicare, the trip to Toronto will consist of:
- Group visits to hospitals and clinics
- One-on-one shadowing opportunities with doctors and nurses
- Meetings with health care providers and administrators
- Press events
This initiative may be the first in a series of visits to Canada this year from PNHP chapters across the country. Join the trip that will start a wave!
