Now is the Time for Us to Speak Up for Single-Payer Health Care

Single-payer health care has been a hot topic ever since the arrests of the Baucus 13, and PNHP’s name recognition has never been higher. There is a great deal of interest in single payer and a great deal of misinformation to counteract. There will never be a better time to recruit colleagues; write articles and letters to the editors of newsletters, magazines, and newspapers; and seek opportunities for speaking publicly, being interviewed by the media, and lobbying Congress in support of single payer, HR 676/S 703, and the work of PNHP and other proponents of single-payer health care.
